The DIN963 nuts and bolts are used to additionally secure the brake lining or the strip following vulcanization (run-off protection). The DIN963 nuts and bolts are available in M6, M8 and M10 (20 and 80mm).
Alternatives for nuts and bolts
An alternative for nuts and bolts is the use of rivets DIN7338B. The rivets DIN7338B are used to additionally secure the brake lining or the strip material (woven brake lining) following vulcanization (run-off protection).
The rivets DIN7338B are available in M6, M8 and M10 (lengths of between 20 and 70mm). To correctly attach the rivets, you need a special rivet tool (for DIN7338B).
